[Book Review] The Color of Bee Larkham’s Murder by Sarah J. Harris

If you read my reviews, you know how much I love piecing together a mystery, finding tucked away clues and putting all the pieces of the puzzle together – way before the end. The more cleaver the author in their way of leading me astray or doubting my abilities, the more I’m engaged. This one had me engaged not only because of the mystery but because of how unique Jasper was.

[Book Review] Ghosted by Rosie Walsh

I only glanced at the blurb and was intrigued by what I read. Now, I cannot confirm or deny if I’ve ever ghosted or been ghosted but I know people who have. – Gives a sly wink. What I can do however is confirm that I have indeed experienced that “soul mate” moment and it’s something one never forgets. [Book Review] The Showrunner by Kim Moritsugu

Looking for a light summer read ? I think I have the perfect pic for you. This is one of those novels that I don’t think I would have picked up but so glad I dove into it. The setting and characters are so far removed from my everyday reality yet I could relate to the intense rivalry between Stacey and Ann. I lived through something similar when I was younger and career driven and let me just say; I’m so glad I got out of that environment when I did.

[Book Review] The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware

I’m one of those people who loves to hang on to clues, wondering if this or that has a certain significance in the grand scheme of things. I kick myself if I miss something that should have been obvious. If you are anything like me, you’ll enjoy piecing this one together. Throughout the novel, I was wondering what the connection was, what was the final link that put everyone, everything together.

[Book Review] The Girlfriend by Michelle Frances

The story within THE GIRLFRIEND grows over the course of the first half of the book. This is where the reader could take a side: Team Laura (The Mom) or team Cherry (The Girlfriend). However I found it particularly difficult to like either one of these women or take a side. I enjoyed the jockeying of position though. Who could ultimately outplay or outlast the other.
