For the longest time it was difficult for me to get my hands on any English books. Living in rural Quebec 20 years ago with no internet or English book store close by made in next to impossible. Even the library didn’t have any English Books. The closest book store was Quebec City ! Now I live in Levis, a hop across the Saint-Lawrence river and I am in English book heaven. (and there is always the possibility of buying online too..so many books, so little time!!) Since I’m rediscovering my passion for books, I try and choose from a variety of genres. However I do tend to stay away from harlequin romance type novels.
I prefer real books over the e-format.. but I’m not one of those hard liners that will never use an e-reader. I’m also partial to Canadian Literature, I love Canadian content. Go Canada !!
