This colorful book is a wonderful reminder that Math is all around us. My young reader wanted to dive into it right away. She loved the big beautiful illustrations ! I must admit, I loved to read some of the poems out loud to her, I don’t know who had more fun ?!

Where do fairy tales end and where does reality begin. Frederik Backman gives us an intensely woven story set in the Land of Almost-Awake and within the real world. In each we meet monsters, dragons, shadows, superheroes, princesses and their princes. As you go through the book, you’ll find out how the land of almost awake and the real world are connected.

If you live on planet earth, more particularly in Canada… you should read this book.  If you have investments in the TSX, interested in politics or the environment.. again, you should read this book.

I want to rent a commercial trailer, hire a truck driver and fill the van with Molecules and travel across the country delivering this book to people, schools, hospitals, sports teams.. everywhere.

Catchy Title and a simplistic cover made me pick this one up !! As well as the little blurb about the author. I mean come on, when the description of the author reads : He was born in Wingham, Ontario, the birthplace of Alice Munro, making him the second-best writer from a town of 3000. You just know you have to pick up this read !!!

Such a brilliantly crafted Young Adult/Satire Novel by Kersti Niebruegge ! For a first novel, this is impressive. Extra +++ bonus points for the use of the word Nimrod and Poubelle !!
